Our Dogs
We were introduced to stock dogs in the late 1990s when our first Australian Cattle dog helped us on the feedlot that Dan managed. Since then Australian Cattle Dogs have been a continuous part of our life. Our hope is to see the breed maintain biddable working roots while improving its overall durability, longevity, and behavior.
The breed needs a strong leader who is dedicated to daily physical and mental work. We love the breed and can’t imagine life without them.

Wit has a showboat attitude with beauty to match. She has a zest for life and will do anything you ask her to. She came to our family when there were plenty of irons on the fire. She rolls with it and has a special love for our kids. I can’t wait to get her into the obedience & rally ring soon.
Mercy

Mercy is the lone Border Collie on the farm. She was trained and trialed with Dan on sheep. Unfortunately her trialing career ended with shoulder trouble that led to surgery. She lives a comfortable life with us herding chickens and cats with a few sheep runs every once in a while.

Lu was our first registered Australian Cattle Dog. She was bred by Carol Delsman of Shadybrook Australian Cattle Dogs. She missed her 16th birthday by 1 month. She would do anything we asked her with a great attitude and willingness. She never had a litter of her own but loved puppies and always became the mama to any new pups of ours or visiting ones. A true ambassador to the breed. We will miss her forever.
